Key Benefits & Features

Effective Deaeration: Effectively helps eliminate entrapped air and micro-bubbles in waterborne formulations.

Excellent Compatibility: Suitable for a wide range of waterborne emulsion and resin systems.

Airless Spray Applications: Particularly suitable for airless spray formulations where micro-bubble control is important.

Broad System Compatibility: Suitable for pure acrylic, styrene-acrylic, vinyl, EVA, waterborne epoxy, hybrid, and other waterborne systems.

Clear and Pigmented Systems: Suitable for both clear and pigmented waterborne coating formulations.

Applications

NV-DF9049 is suitable for a wide range of waterborne coatings and inks, including:

Architectural Coatings: Waterborne architectural and decorative coatings.

High-Solid-Content Clear Coatings: High-solid-content transparent coatings.

Printing Inks & Varnishes: Waterborne printing inks and varnishes.

Wood & Furniture Coatings: Waterborne coatings for wood and furniture applications.

Industrial Coatings: Waterborne industrial coating systems.

Automotive Coatings: Waterborne automotive coating systems.

Application Guide

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage is based on the total formulation weight:

Architectural Coatings: 0.2–0.8%

High-Solid-Content Clear Coatings: 0.5–1.5%

Printing Inks & Varnishes: 0.1–0.5%

Wood & Furniture Coatings: 0.2–0.8%

Industrial Coatings: 0.1–0.5%

Automotive Coatings: 0.1–0.8%

The optimum dosage should be determined through laboratory testing according to the specific formulation.

Handling & Incorporation

Mixing Before Use: Stir thoroughly before use.

High-Shear Mixing: The product should be incorporated under sufficient high shear to ensure uniform distribution and effective performance.

Pre-Dilution: Pre-dilution with a recommended solvent may facilitate incorporation and mixing.

Addition: The product should be properly dispersed throughout the formulation to achieve optimum deaeration performance.

Handling & Precautions

As the product contains active hydrophobic particles, product homogeneity is critical; always mix or agitate the drum thoroughly prior to each dispensing loop.

Avoid direct eye contact.

Storage

Temperature Range: Keep stored within sealed factory packaging between 5℃ and 40℃. Protect from freezing and direct extreme heat sources.

Shelf Life: Stable for up to 12 months from the date of chemical packaging under proper tightly closed conditions.
