Product Description

NV-DF9094 is a concentrated, water-dilutable organosilicon defoamer emulsion designed for effective foam control in conventional surfactant and polymer foaming systems.

The product is formulated from polysiloxanes, silicone resin, silica, dispersing agents and stabilizing agents. It provides fast defoaming and durable foam-control performance and can be diluted directly with suitable water or incorporated into other silicone emulsion systems.

NV-DF9094 is particularly suitable for applications in textile processing, daily chemical washing, metal processing and industrial water treatment.

Application Guide

Direct Addition

NV-DF9094 can be added directly to the foaming system.

For effective dispersion, it is recommended to introduce the product at a location where sufficient agitation or circulation is available to distribute the defoamer throughout the foaming medium.

The optimum dosage and addition point should be determined according to the specific application.

Dilution

NV-DF9094 can be diluted with suitable water or thickened water when required.

When dilution is performed:

Use appropriate dilution water suitable for the intended application.

Maintain a stirring speed of approximately 30–60 rpm.

Keep the stirring time as short as practical and generally no longer than 10 minutes.

Avoid excessive agitation.

The appropriate dilution ratio should be determined according to the application requirements and the desired foam-control performance.

Blending with Other Silicone Emulsions

NV-DF9094 can also be combined with other silicone emulsion defoamers where formulation flexibility or performance adjustment is required.

Compatibility testing is recommended before commercial-scale blending.

Handling & Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Wear protective gloves and safety goggles during handling.

Ensure adequate ventilation in the operating area.

Clean up spills immediately with absorbent materials to prevent slip hazards.

Do not add strong acids, alkalis, or inorganic salts directly into the neat emulsion container.

Storage：

Packaging: Supplied in 200 kg drums, or 1000 kg IBC totes.

Storage Conditions: Store in original, unopened containers in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area at temperatures between 5℃ and 40℃ (41°F–104°F). Protect from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and freezing conditions.

Shelf Life: 6 months from the date of manufacture under proper storage conditions. Ensure the container is tightly sealed after each use.
