Product Description

NV-DF9084 is a high-performance, dilutable organosilicon defoamer concentrate. Designed for high efficiency, it achieves long-lasting foam control in conventional surfactant and polymer systems even at low dosage levels and suitable for a broad range of industrial formulations.

Typical propertes:

Appearance:White or slightly yellow uniform emulsion liquid, free of sediment and visible impurities

pH Value:6.5–8.5

Solid Content (%):48.0 ± 2.0

Viscosity, 25℃: 1000-4000mPa.s

Key Benefits & Features

Rapidly disperses into foaming systems to knock down dynamic foam instantly.

Delivers long-lasting foam suppression at minimal dosage.

Can be diluted directly with water/thickeners or blended into other silicone emulsion systems.

Effective at low addition levels, helping reduce overall antifoam consumption.

Good compatibility with conventional surfactant and polymer-based formulations.

Provides excellent foam control in a wide pH range, over a long period.

Concentrated formulation with high solids content for efficient transportation, storage and use.

Applications

NV-DF9084 is recommended for foam control in conventional surfactant, polymer and aqueous processing systems, including:

Agricultural formulations

Pesticides

Herbicides

Fungicides

Insecticides

Agricultural adjuvants

Fertilizer formulations

Textile processing

Daily chemical and household detergents

Metal processing fluids

Water treatment

Other aqueous systems where rapid and durable foam control is required.

Application Guide

NV-DF9084 may be added directly to the final formulation or diluted prior to use, depending on the characteristics of the application system

Direct Addition

For systems with good dispersion capability, NV-DF9084 can be added directly to the foaming system at a suitable point where the product can be rapidly and uniformly distributed.

Slow to moderate agitation is recommended after addition to achieve homogeneous dispersion and optimum foam control.

Dilution

When pre-dilution is preferred, NV-DF9084 can be diluted with thickening water prior to application.

During dilution:

Use clean water compatible with the final formulation.

Maintain an agitation speed of approximately 30–60 rpm.

Avoid excessive shear during preparation.

A mixing time of no more than 10 minutes is recommended.

The diluted product should be used promptly and its stability should be evaluated according to the specific application.

The optimum dosage depends on the formulation composition, surfactant concentration, polymer content, temperature, pH and the type and intensity of agitation generating the foam.

As a general practice, dosage should be determined through application testing, starting from a low addition level and gradually increasing until the required foam control is achieved.

For formulated products, it is recommended to verify that the antifoam remains uniformly dispersed after addition and throughout the intended storage period.

Handling & Precautions

Shake or gently agitate the product before use if necessary.

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive shear during dilution and incorporation.

Store in a tightly closed container and protect from contamination.

Keep the product away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Do not freeze the product.

Avoid prolonged storage at elevated temperatures.

If the product is diluted before use, the stability of the diluted dispersion should be evaluated before large-scale application.

Compatibility and optimum dosage should be confirmed by application testing before commercial use, particularly in complex formulations containing high levels of surfactants, polymers, salts or other functional additives.

Storage:

Packaging: Supplied in 200 kg drums, or 1000 kg IBC totes.
