Key Benefits & Features
Rapid foam knockdown: Quickly destabilizes and eliminates foam after addition.
Long-lasting foam control: Provides persistent antifoaming performance and helps prevent foam reformation during subsequent processing.
Excellent water dispersibility: Easily disperses in aqueous systems with low tendency for oil separation, agglomeration or residue formation.
Broad application range: Suitable for a wide variety of aqueous formulations and industrial processes.
Good acid and alkali resistance: Effective over a broad pH range and suitable for applications involving acidic or alkaline conditions.
Good temperature resistance: Maintains effective foam control under elevated processing temperatures when properly incorporated into the system.

Application Guide
Amount Needed
DF9082 is effective at relatively low concentrations. As a general starting point, trials may be initiated at approximately 10 ppm.
Typical use levels are approximately 30–200 ppm, depending on the formulation, foaming tendency and processing conditions.
For highly foaming applications, such as coatings and biological fermentation processes, higher use levels may be required. Dosages of approximately 0.2–0.5% may be required in certain demanding applications.
The optimum dosage should be determined by application testing.
Adding the Antifoam
For optimum foam control, NV-DF9082 should be uniformly dispersed throughout the foaming medium.
Agitate the product before use to ensure uniformity.
NV-DF9082 may be added directly to the foaming system when adequate agitation is available to achieve uniform dispersion.
If dilution is required, dilute with clean water under slow and uniform mixing.
Diluted material should preferably be used within 24 hours.
Where possible, add the antifoam before the point at which significant foam formation occurs.

For high-temperature systems above 60℃, it is recommended to add and fully disperse DF9082 before the system temperature exceeds 60℃ to maximize foam-control performance.
The optimum addition point, dosage and dilution ratio should be determined according to the
specific application and process conditions.
Dilution and Dispersion
NV-DF9082 is readily dispersible in water. When predilution is required, add DF9082 slowly to the required amount of clean water under gentle agitation. Avoid excessive shear or prolonged high-speed mixing, which may affect emulsion stability.
For best results, use diluted material as soon as practical and within 24 hours.
Handling & Precautions
Agitate or gently mix the product before use if prolonged storage has occurred.
