Product Description

The NV-SiF311 and NV-SiF312 series are premium-grade, liquid trifluoropropylmethylsiloxane-dimethylsiloxane co-polymers. By chemically inserting dimethyl (CH3) segments into the fluorosilicone polymer chain, these fluids act as a bridge balancing the exceptional chemical resistance of traditional fluorosilicones with the superior cost-efficiency, low-temperature fluidity, and wide formulation compatibility of standard dimethyl silicone oils.

With customizable fluorochemical densities (50 mol% for NV-SiF311 and 30 mol% for NV-SiF312), these copolymers allow formulators to dial in the exact solvent resistance and boundary lubrication required. Their extremely wide viscosity range (100 to 100,000mPa) makes them highly versatile reactive intermediates, mechanical damping fluids, and performance lubricants across the automotive, chemical processing, and personal care industries.

Ordering Information: Due to our flexible synthesis capabilities, any specific target viscosity within the 100 to 100,000 mPa.s window can be precisely manufactured to customer specifications.

Key Benefits & Features

Tailored Solvent & Oil Resistance: Offers excellent barriers against hydrocarbons, fuels, and typical organic solvents, preventing dissolution and premature failure while remaining highly economical compared to 100% fluorosilicones.

Optimized Surface Tension Control: Lower surface tension than standard dimethicones makes them outstanding internal Defoamers and levelers for complex polar-nonpolar blended solvent systems.

Broad Elastomer Compatibility: Exhibiting reduced swelling tendencies on a wider variety of industrial rubbers, gaskets, and O-rings (including NBR, EPDM, and FKM).

Exceptional Shear & Thermal Stability: Low evaporation rate (5%) at 200℃guarantees long-lasting mechanical protection and steady viscosity under high shear loads.

Applications

Lubricants & Release Agents: Ideal for light-to-medium load lubrication environments exposed to intermittent solvent washes, fuel splashes, or chemical vapors.

Specialty Industrial Antifoam: Highly recommended for foam suppression in oil/gas crude separators, solvent-based paint systems, and dry-cleaning distillation recycling loops.

Polymer Base & Plastic Modifier: Used as an additive or base fluid in modifying performance rubbers and engineering plastics to achieve water/oil repellency and enhanced tactile glide.

Personal Care Formulation: Act as premium structural modifiers in specialized cosmetics and skin-care barrier creams providing unique non-greasy, water-proof, and breathable films.

Handling & Storage

Ensure airtight storage. Fluorosilicone copolymers can absorb trace atmospheric moisture if exposed for prolonged periods.

Shelf Life: 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened packaging in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment.
