Molecular structure:

Product Description

The NV-SiF320 Series consists of reactive, linear silanol-functional (hydroxyl-terminated) polytrifluoropropylmethylsiloxanes with 100 mol% fluorine density. By combining the highly reactive terminal silanol (-Si-OH) groups with a fully fluorinated trifluoropropyl side-chain backbone, these fluids serve as exceptional performance modifiers and cross-linkable building blocks.

The primary industrial application of the NV-SiF320 series is as a structure control agent (anti-structuring silicone fluid) in fluorosilicone rubber (FVMQ) compounding to prevent crepe hardening. Additionally, it functions as a critical high-tier reactive intermediate to synthesize block copolymers, fluorosilicone sealants, coatings, and surface-tailored materials requiring extreme fuel, oil, chemical, and environmental resistance.

Ordering Information: Due to our flexible synthesis capabilities, any specific target viscosity within the 100 to 100,000 mPa.s window can be precisely manufactured to customer specifications.

Key Benefits & Features

High Reactivity for Condensation: Terminal silanol groups (-Si-OH) undergo smooth room-temperature (RTV) or thermal condensation curing with alkoxy, acyloxy, or oxime silane cross-linkers.

Excellent Crepe Inhibition: Functions as an outstanding process aid/filler treater in fumed silica filled FVMQ compounds, preventing structural aging and improving milling properties.

100% Purity Chemical Shield: Retains maximum resistance to solvent extraction, swelling by jet fuels, hydraulic fluids, automotive gasoline, and harsh acids/bases.

Low Volatiles & High Flash Point: Strict volatile control (5% evaporation at 200℃) avoids

bubbling or structural defects during high-temperature curing or molding cycles.

Applications

FVMQ Rubber Compounding: Used as a structure control agent / anti-creping fluid during the compounding of fluorosilicone rubber bases with reinforcing silica fillers.

Reactive Intermediate for Synthesis: Base raw material for producing fluorosilicone condensation-cure block polymers, textile coatings, and architectural sealants.

Surface Energy Modifier: Applied as an anchoring repellent agent on glass, metal, or electronic substrates, providing permanent oil/water repellency after chemical binding.

Specialty Adhesive Formulations: Synthesizing fuel-resistant potting compounds and marine anti-fouling coatings.

Handling & Storage

Moisture Sensitivity: Because this fluid is silanol-terminated, it can slowly self-condense in the presence of trace moisture, moisture-laden air, or catalytic acids/bases.

Keep containers hermetically sealed at all times.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened packaging in a cool, dry place ( 25℃).
