Product Description

NV-SOFT 5038 is a high-performance ultra-high molecular weight polysiloxane dispersion designed as an efficient silicone feel modifier for coating systems. It provides excellent surface smoothness, slip performance, and abrasion resistance while delivering a soft and pleasant tactile feel. 

Due to its unique high molecular weight silicone structure, NV-SOFT 5038 significantly reduces surface friction, improves anti-blocking performance, and enhances the wear resistance and durability of coating films. It also contributes to improved water repellency and surface protection.

NV-SOFT 5038 can be uniformly dispersed in both waterborne and solvent-borne coating systems. It is widely used in waterborne industrial coatings, leather finishes, textile coatings, and other applications requiring premium hand feel, smooth surface properties, and enhanced durability.

Application Guide

. Recommended dosage:

The dosage of NV-SOFT5038 depends on the resin system, formulation type, and required surface performance.

Recommended dosage:0.1% – 1.0%

. Incorporation Method

Due to its high viscosity, NV-SOFT5038 can be pre-diluted with water before use to achieve uniform dispersion.

Add during the let-down stage or final formulation step under low to medium shear agitation.

Pre-testing is recommended to confirm compatibility with specific coating systems.
