NV-PC820 is a high-efficiency polyether-modified silicone emulsifier characterized by its multi-segment polyether structure. It is non-toxic, safe, and possesses exceptionally strong emulsifying power. It is specifically designed as an ideal Silicone-in-Water (Si/W) emulsifier, capable of emulsifying various silicones—from standard Dimethicones of varying viscosities to specialty modified silicones—producing emulsions with outstanding long-term stability..

Formulation Guide:

Phase Mixing: Thoroughly blend the Lauryl PEG-8 Dimethicone with the target silicone oil(s) until a completely uniform system is formed.

Phase Inversion/Emulsification: Add a small portion of the total water phase to this uniform mixture all at once while stirring vigorously. A thick, paste-like primary emulsion (cream base) will form.

Dilution: Gradually add the remaining water under continuous stirring to achieve the final, stable O/W silicone em

Dosage:

As Primary Emulsifier: Generally 2.0% – 15.0% based on the weight of the silicone oil phase (e.g., a 1:9 or 1:6 ratio of emulsifier to silicone).

Handling & Precautions:

Store in a cool, dry place. Ensure containers are sealed to prevent moisture absorption which may cause the "misty" appearance to increase.

Packaging & Shelf Life:

Packaging: 25kg plastic pails or 200kg iron drums.

Shelf Life: 24 months from manufacturing date when stored in the original sealed container under recommended conditions.
