Product Description:

NV-PC421 is a clear, colorless, low-viscosity silicone fluid. Unlike standard polydimethylsiloxanes, the integration of an alkyl group on the siloxane backbone significantly improves its compatibility with a wide range of vegetable oils, organic waxes, and cosmetic esters. It acts as a bridge between silicone and organic components, providing a unique, silky skin feel with reduced greasiness.

Formulation Guide:

 Easy to incorporate into the oil phase of any formulation.

 Can be used as a base fluid for anhydrous systems or as an emollient in O/W and W/O emulsions.

 It can be added to the oil phase and processed at temperatures up to 80 °C. Due to its low but non-zero volatility, addition during the cool-down phase (<60 °C) is recommended when feasible to minimize evaporation losses.

Skin Care & Lotions: 2% – 10%

Sun Care Products: 5% – 15%

Color Cosmetics: 5% – 20%

Anhydrous Serums: 10% – 50%

Handling & Precautions:

Store in a cool, dry place.

Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Keep container tightly closed to prevent contamination.

Packaging & Shelf Life:

Packaging: Typically supplied in 170kg drums or 850kg IBC tanks.

Shelf Life: 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened containers under recommended storage conditions.
