NV-PC411 is an amine-functionalized silicone polymer designed specifically for hair care. Unlike standard dimethicones, the amino groups carry a positive (cationic) charge in aqueous environments. This allows the polymer to selectively bond to damaged hair areas (which are negatively charged), forming a durable, protective film that resists rinsing.

Formulation Guide:
 Emulsification: Pure Amodimethicone is insoluble in water. It is most commonly used in the form of a pre-emulsified macro or micro-emulsion (non-ionic or cationic).
 pH Sensitivity: The cationic nature is enhanced at lower pH (pH 4.0 – 5.5), which is ideal for hair conditioners.
 Compatibility: Compatible with most cationic surfactants (like Cetrimonium Chloride) and non-ionic surfactants. Limited compatibility with high concentrations of anionic surfactants.
Recommended Usage Level:
Rinse-off Conditioners: 1.0% – 5.0%
Leave-in Sprays: 0.5% – 2.0%
Hair Masks/Intensive Treatments: 3.0% – 8.0%
