Product Description:

NV-PC822 is a high-performance lipophilic emulsifier designed for Water-in-Silicone (W/Si) and Water-in-Oil (W/O) emulsions. With an HLB value of approximately 4.5, it offers exceptional emulsifying capabilities even at low concentrations. It is specifically engineered to stabilize high internal water phase emulsions, enabling the formulation of "Water-Drop" creams and lightweight, non-greasy O/W-like textures with an inverse structure. It carries a slight characteristic polyether odor.

Formulation Guide:

Pre-mixing: Ensure the oil phase and PEG-10 Dimethicone are thoroughly blended into a uniform system before adding water.

Phase Addition: Slowly pour the water phase into the oil phase while stirring. Do not add oil to water.

Shear Force: While homogenization is not strictly required for liquid-only systems, increasing the stirring speed during/after water addition significantly improves stability and refines particle size.

Viscosity Control: In W/Si systems, increasing the water phase ratio typically increases the final viscosity of the system.

Stability Optimization: It is highly recommended to add 0.5% – 2.0% Electrolytes (e.g., Sodium Chloride or Magnesium Sulfate) to the water phase to enhance long-term storage stability.

Dosage:

As Primary Emulsifier: 1.0% – 4.0%

As Co-emulsifier: 0.1% – 1.5%

Handling & Precautions:

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container tightly closed.

Slight cloudiness may occur at low temperatures; this is reversible upon gentle warming and does not affect quality.

Packaging & Shelf Life:

Packaging: 25kg plastic pails or 200kg iron drums.

Shelf Life: 24 months from manufacturing date when stored in the original sealed container under recommended conditions.
