Product Description:

NV-PC901B is a specialized mixture of high molecular weight silicone elastomer dispersed in Cyclopentasiloxane. It appears as a clear to slightly translucent gel that integrates seamlessly into oil-phase formulations.

This elastomer gel is engineered to provide a sophisticated, "dry-smooth" tactile experience, leaving the skin with a silky, non-greasy finish. It acts as a multifunctional ingredient that stabilizes emulsions, manages sebum, and transforms the aesthetics of volatile silicones into a premium, velvety texture.

Using Method & Formulation Guide:

Dispersion: Can be easily dispersed into the oil or silicone phase using simple mixing. No high-shear homogenization is required for the gel itself.

Addition Order:

Can be added directly to the oil/silicone phase in an emulsion.

Can be post-added to finished emulsions if the system is viscous enough to support uniform dispersion.

Viscosity Management: For easier handling, it can be pre-blended with low-viscosity Dimethicone or Cyclomethicone to reduce its initial thickness.

Temperature Control: If heating is required, process in an enclosed vessel to prevent the evaporation of Cyclopentasiloxane. Do not exceed 60°C (140°F).

Physical State Note: This product may become very thick or slightly lumpy over time due to its "thixotropic" nature. This is normal; the gel will return to its original state after brief, slight agitation.

Recommended Dosage:

1.0%–20.0% (Depending on the desired viscosity and skin feel).

Packaging & Shelf Life:

Packaging: Supplied in 20kg plastic pails or 200kg iron drums.

Storage: Store in original, unopened containers between 10°C (50°F) and 40°C (104°F). Protect from direct sunlight, rain, acids, and alkalis.

Shelf Life: 24 months from the date of manufacture.
