Product Description:

NV-PC903 is a colorless to slight yellow, transparent to translucent silicone elastomer gel. Unlike D5-based gels, it utilizes 10cst Dimethicone as the carrier, making it suitable for "D5-free" and "Non-volatile" product claims.

It provides a sophisticated, velvety skin feel with enhanced moisturizing properties. It acts as an excellent thickening agent for oil-phase systems and provides a superior soft-focus effect to blur skin imperfections. It is highly compatible with a wide range of cosmetic oils and maintains stability even under heating.

Using Method & Formulation Guide:

Oil Phase Incorporation: Can be added directly to the oil phase. Unlike D5-based gels, this grade can be heated along with the oil phase during emulsification without loss of solvent.

Homogenization: It is strongly recommended to use a homogenizer to ensure the high-concentration elastomer is completely and uniformly dispersed within the system.

Post-Addition: If uniform dispersion can be guaranteed (via high-shear mixing), the product can be added after the emulsion has been formed.

Flexibility: For easier handling, it may be pre-diluted with additional low-viscosity Dimethicone to reach the desired working viscosity.

Recommended Dosage:

As Sensory Modifier: 3.0% – 10.0%

In Concealer & Foundations: 5.0% – 20.0%

As Structural Thickener: 5.0% – 50.0%

In Mousse-type Products: 5.0% – 60.0%

Handling & Precautions:

High Viscosity: Due to its high non-volatile content, the material is quite thick. Ensure mixing equipment is capable of handling high-viscosity gels.

Thixotropy: The gel may appear firm in the container; mechanical agitation will restore its flowability.

Hygiene: Maintain strict seal integrity after opening to prevent environmental contamination, although evaporation is minimal compared to D5 gels.

Packaging & Shelf Life:

Packaging: 20kg fiber drums or as requests

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place between 10°C and 40°C. Avoid direct sunlight and contact with strong acids or alkalis.

Shelf Life: 24 months from the date of manufacture.
