NV-DF9104 is a 100% active polyether-modified silicone defoamer engineered specifically for metalworking fluid (MWF) matrices. Formulated with a specialized silicone compound and a customized emulsification system, it achieves an optimal balance between fast foam knockdown and long-lasting suppression.

Its unique structure delivers exceptional system compatibility, outstanding dilution stability, and superior resistance to high-shear environments. NV-DF9104 provides highly effective foam control at extremely low treat rates, minimizing any potential side effects on final fluid formulations. It is exceptionally well-suited for saponified oil systems, fully synthetic, semi-synthetic, and emulsion cutting fluids.

Application Guide

Recommended Dosage: Typically 1 to 20 ppm based on system conditions (temperature, agitation rate, and fluid dynamics). Optimal loading should be verified through laboratory testing.

Incorporation Method: Can be added directly into the foaming system or pre-diluted with water before addition. Ensure thorough dispersion upon addition. Pre-diluted mixtures should be used within 4 hours to maintain optimal performance.

Synergistic Performance: Depending on specific application environments, NV-DF9104 can be paired with NV-DF9103 for maximum synergistic foam suppression.

Handling & Precautions

Wear appropriate protective eyewear and gloves during handling.

Ensure adequate local ventilation in operating areas.

Clean up spills immediately using absorbent sand or sawdust to prevent slip hazards.

Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Avoid mixing directly with concentrated strong acids or oxidizers.

Storage:

Packaging: Standard supply in 25 kg plastic pails, 200 kg drums, or 1000 kg IBC totes.

Storage: Store in original unopened containers in a dry, well-ventilated area between 5°C and 40°C (41°F–104°F). Protect from freezing and direct solar radiation.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture under recommended storage conditions.
