Product name:Phenyl Silicone fluid NV-SIPH-LT-*

Product code:NV-SIPH-LT-*

Alias:Phenyl Silicone Fluid 250;Low-Temperature & Damping Phenyl Silicone Fluids

Chemical Information

Main components: Phenylmethylsiloxane-dimethylsiloxane copolymer

Cas no.: 63148-52-7

Molecular structure: (CH3)3SiO[CH3(C6H5)SiO]m[SiO(CH3)2]nSi(CH3)3

Product Description

The NV-SIPH-LT Series consists of premium-grade polymethylphenylsiloxane fluids specially formulated for operations in extreme cold and critical electrical insulation environments. By precisely controlling the low-phenyl density within the linear siloxane backbone, these fluids successfully disrupt the crystallization tracking common in standard dimethicone, allowing the fluid to maintain exceptional low-temperature fluidity and a flat viscosity-temperature profile. The NV-SIPH-LT Series is the premier choice for aerospace instrumentation, low-temperature lubrication, and specialized dielectric applications.

Key Benefits & Features

Extreme Low-Temperature Fluidity: Pour points as low as -57°C ensure that the fluid remains fully liquid and functional without freezing or thickening exponentially in arctic or high-altitude environments.

Excellent Viscosity-Temperature Coefficient: Exhibits minimal viscosity changes across a wide temperature spectrum (-55℃ to 200℃), ensuring predictable damping and hydraulic responses.

Superior Dielectric Properties: High dielectric strength and low volume resistivity make it an exceptional insulating medium for sensitive electrical switchgears and capacitors.

Excellent Shear Stability: Resists permanent viscosity loss under continuous, high-shear mechanical loads.

Applications

Low-Temperature Damping Fluids: Utilized in aerospace gauges, precision military hardware, and outdoor instrumentation to eliminate mechanical jitter in sub-zero environments.

Dielectric & Insulating Fluids: Used as a low-temperature insulating impregnant for capacitors, specialized transformers, and power cable accessories.

Base Oil for Arctic Greases: Serves as the key synthetic base oil for blending low-temperature machinery lubricating greases and plastic-on-plastic bearing lubricants.

Hydraulic Transmission Fluid: Ideal for high-altitude control systems and marine deep-sea equipment requiring reliable hydraulic pressure delivery

Application Guide

System Purging: Thoroughly clean the equipment to remove trace moisture or incompatible solvent residues before charging with NV-SIPH-LT fluids.

Viscosity Optimization: For mechanical damping or shock absorption in arctic conditions, select the NV-SIPH-LT-100-H grade based on your dampening orifice size. For electrical insulation, the low-viscosity NV-SIPH-LT-025 is preferred for better penetration.

Handling & Precautions

Keep away from strong oxidizing agents, open flames, and high-heat elements during storage.

Although non-toxic, standard industrial hygiene measures (goggles and protective gloves) should be observed. Refer to the product SDS for extensive ecological data.

Storage:

Store in tightly closed original packaging in a cool, dark, and dry warehouse.
