A complex dispersion where the silicone elastomer is reinforced with a Q-resin (Trimethylsiloxysilicate) network. These resin-toughened microspheres are swollen with Dimethicone and Isohexadecane, then stabilized in an aqueous phase via a non-ionic surfactant system.

Product Description:

NV-PC9061 is a milky white, viscous liquid emulsion. It is designed to deliver a long-lasting, dry, silky-smooth touch with an exceptionally non-greasy after-feel.

The integration of silicone resin into the elastomer particles enhances the durability of the skin feel and provides superior Light-diffusion (Soft-Focus) properties. It is ideal for water-based formulations where durability, sebum control, and a high-end sensory profile are required.

Using Method & Formulation Guide:

Incorporation: Best added to the water phase. It can also be post-added to a finished emulsion if uniform dispersion of the silicone microspheres can be guaranteed.

Mixing: Medium-shear agitation is recommended to ensure the viscous suspension is fully integrated into the system.

Synergy Guide: To maximize the signature silky-powdery feel, it is recommended to add volatile silicones (e.g., Cyclopentasiloxane NV-PC301) and low-viscosity silicone fluids (e.g., 2cSt Dimethicone NV-PC201-2) to the oil phase.

Oil Selection: For best results, minimize or avoid high-viscosity oils and waxes, as they may suppress the unique dry-velvet performance of the resin-elastomer.

Recommended Dosage:

Daily Skincare: 2.0% – 10.0%

Long-wear Foundations/Primers: 5.0% – 20.0%

Oil-Control & Matte Products: 10.0% – 25.0%

Packaging & Shelf Life:

Packaging: 25kg or 200kg plastic drums.

Storage: Store in a cool, ventilated place between 5°C and 35°C. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
