Product Description:

NV-PC9021 is a milky white, high-concentration viscous emulsion designed as a premium sensory modifier. It allows for the easy incorporation of silicone elastomers into the aqueous phase of cosmetics, effectively bridging the gap between water-based freshness and silicone-based luxury. Due to its high solid content, it delivers an immediate "soft-focus" and wrinkle-blurring effect, along with sebum control and a signature silky-to-powdery, non-greasy finish. This product provides a richer, more cushioned skin feel compared to standard emulsions, making it ideal for premium skincare and "water-heavy" color cosmetics.

Using Method & Formulation Guide:

Phase Incorporation: Typically added directly to the water phase. For O/W emulsions, it is best incorporated during the final stage of manufacturing (post-emulsification) after the system has cooled to 45°C or below. It is also fully compatible with cold-process formulations, making it ideal for energy-saving manufacturing.

Mixing & Dispersion: Requires moderate to medium-shear agitation to ensure the high-solid viscous emulsion is fully and evenly distributed throughout the system.

Shear Sensitivity: While stable, avoid excessive high-shear homogenization after the emulsion has been added to prevent potential destabilization of the polymer droplets.

Synergy Guide: To achieve maximum silky and powdery performance (similar to neat elastomer gels), it is highly recommended to combine this product with volatile silicones (e.g., Cyclopentasiloxane(NV-PC301) or Methyl Trimethicone (NV-PC211) and low-viscosity silicone fluids.

Oil Phase Selection: Avoid or minimize the use of high-viscosity oils and waxes in the formula, as they may mask the unique dry-powdery sensation provided by the elastomer.

Recommended Dosage:

Daily Skincare: 2.0% – 10.0%

Foundations & Primers: 5.0% – 20.0%

Intensive Matte Serums: 10.0% – 30.0%

Packaging & Shelf Life:

Packaging: 25kg or 200kg plastic drums.

Storage: Store in a cool, ventilated place between 5°C and 35°C. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
