Product Description

Silicone Fluid Emulsion is a water-borne, non-ionic emulsion formulated utilizing high-purity polydimethylsiloxane oil as the primary internal phase. Available in optimized active solid contents of 35% and 65%, these emulsions are engineered to offer effortless water dilution capabilities, high chemical stability, and uniform micro-particle distribution. They deliver the performance of premium silicone oils in a safe, completely water-dilutable formulation that avoids volatile organic solvents.

Use Methods

1.Release Agent / LubricantApplication:

NV-SI201E can be applied in its concentrated form or pre-diluted with soft/deionized water.

Technique: Suitable for conventional spraying, dipping, wiping, or brushing methods.

Dilution Ratio: A starting dilution of NV-SiF201E : Water = 1:10 is generally recommended.

Optimization: The optimal dosage and dilution level should be determined through laboratory trials tailored to specific substrate requirements.

2.Textile Finishing

Dosage: Recommended concentration typically ranges from 5 to 50 g/L, depending on fabric structure and fiber type (natural or synthetic).  

Process: Applied via the padding (impregnation) process.  

Pre-treatment:

Thoroughly rinse the fabric with a non-ionic detergent.  

Follow with a neutralization bath using 2 g/L (80%) acetic acid for 5 minutes. This step is critical to neutralize residual alkalinity, preventing "oil spots" or "roller sticking" caused by emulsion instability.  

Compatibility:

If using finishing resins or fillers, follow the manufacturer's dilution instructions. Ensure the bath temperature is cooled below 30°C before adding the silicone emulsion.  

Mixing Procedure:

Pre-dilute NV-SI201E with an equal volume of water before adding it to the mixing tank.  

If catalysts are required, pre-mix them with an equal volume of water separately before adding to the tank.  

Adjust to the final required volume using cold water.  

Operational Precautions

Cleanliness: Ensure all storage tanks, delivery pipelines, and padding mangles are thoroughly cleaned before use.  

Water Temperature: Always use cold water for dilution to maintain emulsion stability.  

Shear Force: Avoid the use of high-shear agitators during the preparation of the finishing liquor to prevent mechanical breaking of the emulsion.

Package:200Ldrum,or 1000kg/ IBC.

Storage:

Stored at or below 35°C in the original unopened containers.

Emulsion will freeze so adequate precautions should be taken. In case of freezing, thaw at room temperature before use to reconstitute. To prevent freezing, please store above 5°C.

Shelf life:6 months.It can still be used if passed the test after the shelf life  .
