Product Description

NV-PC801 is a water-soluble silicone surfactant with a high cloud point. It combines the low surface tension of silicone with the wetting and humectant properties of polyethers. It is highly versatile, acting as a surface tension reductant, wetting agent, and emulsifier in a wide range of personal care and industrial applications.

Formulation Guide:

PEG-12 Dimethicone is cold-processable.

It can be added directly to the water phase or at the end of the formulation process.

It is compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients, including anionic, cationic, and non-ionic surfactants.It is compatible with water, ethanol (70%), cctadecanol,IPM,stearic acid.

NV-PC801 is incompatible or part incompatible with beeswax, glycerin, lanoline, mineral oil, paraffin oil,methyl silicone oil.

Dosage:

Skin Care: 1.0% – 3.0%

Hair Care: 0.5% – 2.0%

Shaving/Cleansing: 0.5% – 5.0%

Handling & Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Keep container tightly closed when not in use.

Standard industrial hygiene practices should be followed. Refer to the MSDS for detailed safety information.

Packaging & Shelf Life

Packaging: Available in 25kg pails or 200kg drums.

Shelf Life: 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened containers at room temperature (below 30℃).

It may get cloudy and solidifies into a soft wax as storaged under 11 ℃. But heat will

melt the wax back into liquid,repeated solidification/melting won’t affect the product’s performance.
